From Vancouver, British Columbia, to Sierra Leone, our mission is to restore pride, unity, and self-reliance within our communities, inspired by ancestral wisdom and leaders who taught us that "the most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed." Born from a deep understanding of our history of dispossession, enslavement, colonialism, and systemic oppression, BLACOMO ADVOCACY NETWORK was established to affirm the inherent worth and creative spirit of Black people. Operating from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Sierra Leone, we are dedicated to cultural renewal, political liberation, and collective empowerment.
